East London-born Elijah grew up listening to Pirate Radio on the sounds of Garage and Jungle. Coming from a Jamaican household, the Dancehall influences go back many years. However, the arrival of the Grime Era helped Elijah find his calling in the Music industry. Whereas Jojo Sonubi founded the Online Radio station ‘No Signal’ and hails from Tottenham, many influences played part in JoJo's career such as coming from a Nigerian household with a strong Gospel background.
